jThe Publishing House starts ist activities in 1964 with "El Bar" journal. In 1985, the anonymus company called "Publicaciónes de Comercio Internacional" is set up and entered in the Register of Commerce of Madrid, with the social objective of the edition of technical magazines.

El Bar takes charge of the promotion for the first time of a campaign for the creation of one rest day within the bar and restaurant sector every week. Meanwhile, as every year passes, it becomes the most important biweekly journal, obtaining therefore numerous prices , and during the same time the Staff has been organizing continuously during the last 15 years several gastronomic conferences.
On the other hand, Actualidad was the promoter and organizer of the First Ice Cream Fair, the First Natural Stone and Funeral Parlor Fair in Madrid and with the award and prizegiving to the most important restaurants and bars both national and international.
The State Governor, Mr. Diódoro Carrasco Altairano handed the Golden Chimalli on behalf of El Imparcial Journal over to the President of Revista Actualidad, Francisco Abello. |
The Revista Actualidad and the Periódico El Bar have received several prizes and awards and we would like to remark the following:

"El Imparcial" from Oaxaca, Mexico, gave in 1996 the award "The Golden Chimalli" to the Revista Actualidad.
